So, here we are, eighteen years later. What is so important about that is back then there were no smartphones and especially no Google Analytics to watch sales come in live 24/7!
LETS LOOK AT THIS FROM ANOTHER ANGLE
Let's put it this way. Lets imagine that say fifteen years ago I walked up to you on the street and said" Hello, this Sir or Madamn is a QR CODE and when you take its picture with your mobile phone, this little black, white or any color QR Code takes you to any destination virtually in seconds flat!
Where, what destination you ask? Well, to a youtube video, a website, an ecommerce webshop, a social media account, post, slideshow, membership sign up, membership payment processor/cart, job application, job resume, powerpoint presentation, and the list goes on and on.
Look at it also this way, qr codes are exactly like barcodes except with thousands of more options. We use qr codes to sell our products and services on what we call "poster-stores" that feature the product image and below it is a qr code that once scanned takes a pedestrian or foot shoppers or online shopper direct to that products specific cart, even all the pricing, taxes, delivery charges (if shopper wants, many of our products are also for pick up in the neighbourhood of the shopper.

When we did our first QR Code Shop tests on one of Canadas busiest streets, in four days, we had 3 sales, 1819 visits, 24 abandoned carts and many look sees. With Google Analytics we could actually watch live as scan after scan showed up on our tv screen with first a red glowing dot and when the transaction was complete, the red dot turned next to yellow and once payment went through the yellow dot turned to a bright green!!
